INDESTRUCTIBLE
MICROCOSM PUBLISHING
Salad days. Green in judgement. Cold in blood. There are many graphic novels and indie/punk bios dedicated to these nostalgic tales. The sheer number makes it even more impressive when one stands out. Road’s Indestructible is one of them. Not a true graphic novel, not a true autobiography… more of an adolescent picture book and a beautiful one at that. The black-and-white drawings within are beautiful and compliment the short chapters brilliantly. Depending on the reader, this book may make you want to dig out your old yearbooks or might make you wish you went to a cooler high school. Either way, this zine-book is well worth your five bucks.
