BERSERKER
Alan Grant’s Church Of Hell certainly fits its description, I’ll give it that. Using a variety of approaches ranging from noir to horror, Grant offers the first in a provocative new series where the reader is transported back in time to discover the downfall of the book’s main character. In many respects, this fist book has everything you’d want from a premier issue: suspense, gross-out moments, and a portrait of a pitiful man tormented by his past. By the end, the church itself surfaces, keeping readers on the edge of their seats waiting for the next in the series.
